WOW! If there were EVER a game that I regretted not being able to go to, this one was IT!!!
Sellout crowd of HAWKS FANS (with a few poor C's fans in attendance
), and apparently the crowd was as loud and electric as at the Thrashers' playoff debut (which I was lucky to attend!)
Doing what NO ONE thought was possible against this season's top contender in the LEAGUE certainly turned a few heads, and it's about time Atlanta got the attention it deserves! This incredible Hawks game, the Braves starting to get their game together, the Falcons filling some BIG holes in the draft, and the Dream opening for business in May, it's an EXCITING time to be an Atlanta sports fan!!
We definitely made a great showing to the game's national (ESPN) audience, and I expect the same when Dream season kicks off! I'll be back in Atlanta next week, and I've never missed the Atlanta sports scene more than I have this spring in Japan!
