Was it just me or did they look like they thought the game was already over and played as such?

A disappointing follow-up to last night!
I guess we have to make allowance for fatigue after all. Late night game, then travel to DC. But all those turnovers! Lots of mental lapses, letting Mystics just take the ball or knock the ball out of our hands. Fouls aplenty, though again, that might be diminished quickness due to fatigue. Some good moments, but ...
Miller had a good game, though. 17 points (leading the team) 5 rebounds (2nd) and NO turnovers (remarkable, under these circumstances).
We outshot them from the floor, but all those turnovers! Can't win like that!

I think they were a bit tired. No excuse though.
They've got to control those turnovers...and fouls. We had 3 players to foul out!

Ivory would have been pumping them up and scrapping; so, for all the debate about Ivory being cut, I missed that "heart" today.

Oh well! There's next time, and we'll have a little rest by then.
See y'all later.

Ivory is the only one we had left with any consistent outside shooting and that NEVER SAY DIE attitude that we need. I posted another thread but this is the 2nd game where we needed Ivory's outside shooting down the stretch especially.

yup, the back to backs suck. Didn't have high expectations for a clean game but still too many TOs. Don't know if Coco was psyched to be playing against her former team/gym but I'll take it and hope she does more of that. Snow and Izi need to show something to stay starters. With Izi I have that Maxine Nighttingale song chorus in my head "right back where we started from"...rest up ladies let's see how the next one goes. Go Dream!

Did anyone watch the Storm/Monarchs game last night? Or check the box scores?
Camille Little is now a starter with Seattle, and performing well. The announcers, from Seattle, were smirking "Thank you, Atlanta Dream!" all night, and gloating about how they got Camille with nothing but a second-round draft choice. "And second-rounders", they said one, "almost never even make the team."
Judging, where possible, by performance so far this season, you could make a pretty good starting line-up out of the people we cut since last year. Ivory, Betty, Camille, Haynie, to begin with.
Heck, even Feenstra Matera is looking better now. She stuck with San Antonio (when Ann Wauters didn't come back) and plays behind Ruth Riley. I thought she performed well for the time I watched her play, though it looks like she's put on an awful lot of weight since last year.
