yes it does......i know some fans here....especially the new ones.....think i'm a little too negative....and that i don't support the team.....but i'm a realist.....and i try not to let hyperbole influence what my eyes and my experience and my instinct tell me to be true.....if you looked closely.....this was predictable....as it started to form in the end moments our team was making the same bad decisions.....we were coached by the same person.....we came out running the same unimaginative sets.....and our focus on defense was still weak.....even in the game we won.....
we built a team with few offensive options.....no firepower.....and only one consistent scorer that just wants to play ball and doesn't really want the pressure of carrying a floundering team on her shoulders....
we could have put claw in a position where she could have contributed instead of carried.....but we made moves to insure that that didn't happen.....this still isn't a bad team.....terribly coached....but not a bad team.....but not the team we could have had.....
if we don't get someone on our staff with some concept of team defense......we're in for a very disappointing season.....

Jaye, I must say I agree 100%. Let's hope Carol Ross can teach our team to play defense because Meadors has no idea what that means. Considering the bad knees of Teasley and the cluelessness of Dizzy Izzy, why don't we just suck it up and play zone defense. I know it's a pro sport, but a zone might be our best chance to stop a few teams.
