My dear out-of-touch Pusser:
You either have to be MM herself, her clone or just so drenched in denial... No runners and gunners? Check my earlier post... I even listed their names for you. Surely, you can't dispute their talents and skills. You, like so many others, seem to close your eyes and I suppose pretend you don't see. The fact is, when our team is on the floor, they're coaching themselves. MM has very little to do with the fact that we've won our last 3 games. Maybe the assistant coaches are kicking in some real know how. Pusser, in fairness sake, open your mind. Walking around with your eyes wide shut will keep you perpetually in denial.

Cacopema,
The night Tamera Young sprained her ankle, my heart sank. We had waited and waited for MM to put her in. No one knew why MM was keeping her on the bench. When Tamera got on the court she showed everyone what she was made of and was doing so brillantly, then the injury came. But I'm grateful for those few minutes just to remind those who know and let those who didn't know that we have a true superstar in this young lady.
It's a sad day when a person who wears the title of 'coach' toys with grown, professional women as if they're pre-schoolers. It's humilating and unprofessional to single players out and have them on the bench as she flexes her authority. She doesn't seem to realize or take to heart that these young ladies deserve to be treated with respect and be provided with the opportunity to do what it is that they were recruited for: TO PLAY. Tamera was our first pick for the DREAM - PERIOD. Unless the masses missed something, me included, MM has no valid reasoning not to play her. Which leads reasonable people to believe that it is indeed personal.
I love the Dream and all of its players. As a founding fan, a season ticketholder and just regular 'ole' me, I'm sickened by the way MM treats her team, specifically, Young and Latta. That's not leadership and it's not coaching style. It's vindictive behavior. Pure and simple. Alienation of fans? I speak as one. If MM continues as head coach next season, this sale will be lost. We struggled to hard to get this team her to have this inept wannabe coach destroy it singlehandedly. I hope and pray that these young ladies will continue to shine. MM and no one else can hold them down from getting what's theirs whether with the Dream or not.

Deedee
It doesn't have to be personal if you play the race card, just preferential. Coming from college, I'm sure MM had dictatorial powers, it's hard to give up something like that. Put those 2 things together....
Not well put, but ...

tonyt and deedee, thanks for sharing your infinite wisdom. ;^) It's obvious that for me, ignorance is bliss, allowing me to be happy with the team and its performance, while you both are unhappy that things aren't being done the way YOU want them.
I'll simply truncate a quote by Ellwood P. Dowd from the play/movie HARVEY:
"Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, 'In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant.' Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me."
