Why are y'all talking about not supporting the team because of a trade? In the world of sports, trades happen every day. The rest of the team remains, and still needs support. Does what happened to Tamera s**k? YES. Should MM be GONE? YES!!!! But the Dream in it's new form is still in need of support. You are supporting the TEAM, not that moron mm(she doesn't deserve caps). Those in attendance have voices to show their disapproval at games. Do you have to only cheer when the coach is introduced?

Some bought season tickets because they were a dream fan and some brought season tickets because they were a player fan. I must admit I got season tickets because I was a player fan. My player is gone and I'm gone with the player. Is this right, I don't know. I still love the team. I've personnally met most of them and I admire them, but I am a TRUE lilsmooth fan. That's just the true facts. I wish them well.

Okay, well I must not have been a true "dream" fan. When lilsmooth was on the bench, I couldn't even see the game. I was looking on the bench at lilsmooth. I promise I'll watch the dream when they play sky. Oh, they won't play them again this year. I wonder if that's MM reason for trading her to the sky.

The only way I could give the Dream 'organization' my support is when MM leaves. Even though this is a 'business', Tamera was straight out humiliated by MM and as a beloved fan, I felt humiliated and betrayed as well. So, no, as long as she's at the helm, I'm with you lilsmoothfan, I'm Sky bound. Already checking out tickets and airfares... Tamera is going to be alright. My heart goes out to the rest of the players.

Some of you are getting bothered or upset about people being a person fan vs. a team fan. You are going to have both when dealing with teams. Some people are going to root for a team because of player and some for the team and some for both. In the case with TY I'm sure her family, close friends will abandon the Dream and follow her to the Skyy and anywhere else she goes. Some may be a fan of Tamera and still continue to follow the Dream. It's a personal choice...not anything for people to get upset over. Geesh people, the things you get worked up over!!

nothing mm does suprises me anymore.....but this one was a while in the making.....mm is pretty transparent.....before she gets rid of a player.....she distances herself from them.....and what possible purpose could this trade serve....other than to get rid of a player that mm personally didn't like.....price is a shooting guard that can't really shoot.....what possible benefit could this trade have.....
this is turning into the typical atlanta sports team circle jerk.....

Ugh! Just saw the news. I am sorry that Lil Smooth will no longer be with my STILL favorite team (despite my move out of the area) but as many of you have said, this might be a good thing for her and hopefully she will be getting more minutes.
I'm just glad she ended up on the closest team to where I live! Although I have tix to this Saturday's Sky game, I wasn't going to go for various reasons, but I may have to rethink that now.
Crossing my fingers for LIL SMOOTH!

I promise you, I am not getting worked up. What you said is true and I'd be the first to admit I am a player fan. I still do like the dream team, and I will keep up with them, but as I stated, I will be following the sky. I don't think the coach was fair to her. I'm not as good with the games as a lot of you are, but I'm like Jaye, I don't get the rationale with this trade. I'm just glad she's traded and hopefully she'll get some playing time. I know lilsmooth can hang with any g/f we had on the dream team, but yet she was the one to get benched. Glad she's gone, sorry it took so long. Again, I am not "worked up". I feel good in my satified soul. Amen to that.

I'm a ride or die Dream fan/STH. Period! Always. I follow the TEAM (regardless Meadors asinine machinations). So I wont be jumping ship every time there are transactions I don't necessarily agree with. I can still be a fan/supporter of individual players who are no longer with the Dream without abandoning my team. X_____________________________________

I have to say....when we drafted Tamera...many of us were like WHAT?? WTF? We had so much to choose from and we drafted WHO AGAIN???
All of us scratched our heads...but Tamera won us over with her amazing defense...her always steady demeanor and what a great person she is......
But truth be known...not many players that play for programs that are not on the national scene will even get drafted or get a chance.
At least they gave her a stage and platform to show her stuff...minimally and obviously not enough time ON THE STAGE...but Tamera if not drafted...would never maybe even made a WNBA team....or had gotten noticed. I hope this really turns into a good thing for her..she deserves it.
Rarely do you see a player that is not at a big div 1 school get a chance and become successful...there are players every so often...Becky Hammon...Q this year...Erin Buscher...so...the Dream organization did give her a chance...and they are allowing her the chance again...they could have waived her...at least they traded her and she may get the chance to show out again....WE HOPE THE SKY will be that place!
Go get em lil smooth!!

All of the best to Tamara in Chicago - she will be missed. With that said, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Armintie Price. This is a huge! Have any of you ever seen Armintie play? My family and I saw her a few years ago in Hartford, CT during the NCAA tourney. She's freaky athletic! I'm thrilled with the acquisition! Get trade JMO - you will all see. She carried Ole Miss on her back during her senior year. She's just an amazing player and person. She'll fit in nicely. Give her some love ATL! GO ARMINTIE! GO DREAM! ONE DREAM...ONE TEAM!!!!!!!!!!
