Just heard the news. I'm sadden because I think Tamara was a great asset to this team. Defensive and quickness wise I think she and Angel could have really reck some havic. I'm like SCARAB: Hmmm....seeing images of McCoughtry and Price on a fast break dancing through my head.
Blogger had been predicting this and I was afraid this would happen. Now we do need something at the guard spot when it comes to defense and quickness. Our weak spots at that position really shows up when we play a team that has quick guards (chic to name one). If Armintie is the answer; I don't know because though she was quick as hell the other night when we play Chic she wasn't controlled. She committed like two or three offensive fouls.
The sad part to this is we have a winning team that can go far but the coaching is the problem. I hope this is it for MN; If there is even an ATL Dream next year.

Ok, I am a Tamera Young fan, too. VERY sad to see her leave but for whatever reason, she wasn't getting the playing time she deserved and it was unfortunate that she got hurt recently when things were just synching up for the team. I wish little smooth the very best in Chi-town and hope she does great and will continue root for her as a "player" there... but come on ya'll... if you don't have the player connection with Young that ties you to now become a Sky fan.... no reason to drop the love for the rest of our Dream ladies that have been bustin' their a--- this year to go (basically) from worst to first!!!! How can you not love and support THAT?? I mean seriously.... WAY TO GO DREAM!!!
Look, I think MN is a ridiculous coach, but who cares... we are winning in spite of her and that is because of the ladies on the court who go out there and hustle every game until the bitter end... I saw it last year when we lost almost every game... we never gave up!! We've got heart and hustle and that's what makes me LOVE the Dream!!! Hopefully, Carol will step up and take the head coach position next year.
So... WELCOME TO ATLANTA MINTIE PRICE!!! We'll support you, too!! I look forward to making the playoffs in only our 2nd season!! The team needs our support now, more than ever!!! Tamera was tight with some of our best players so I am sure they are bummed, too. Keep up the support fans, keep up the good work ladies and take us to the playoffs!!!
See you tomrorow night!! wooooo hoooooo!!
Go Dream!!!

I was checking out the Sky message board to see what was being said about the trade. The standard stuff, except for those who thought they should be trading coaches instead of players . The way it sounds, Key is as big of a dictator as mm. Hope it goes well for Tamera. They say he can't develope talent. The Sky are on the local and NBATV (unless they change their minds again), so I'll be watching. Might be interesting.

I was very encouraged to see Armintie and Coach (assistant left off on purpose) Carol Ross talking and laughing during pre-game on Thurs. I think Price will make a great player in our "new coach's system" (hoping, praying, and wishing, etc).

Price thread so that people can see what a great player she will be for this franchise. She's a blue collar worker and a winner. This is a great move for the team. It was also a great move for T. Young. A win-win for sure.

you guys try to be upbeat and sister sledge on everything..... myself.....i'm pretty realistic.....and i'm not sure about this one....price is very.... very athletic.....but she's a shooting guard that seems to have forgotten how to shoot.....and she has a very bad habit of watching the ball while she dribbles.....(man that makes me pull my hair out when i'm coaching kids ) she's too small and too frail to spend much time at small forward.....and if she's in the two season slump that she seems to be in.....under mm she won't get much time to play out of it..... she seems to be a honey of a young lady.....but that won't help us win games.....neither will cheerleading..... i'm taking a wait and see attitude on this one.....

Wow. I'm a new Dream fan and I'm trying to catch up on whats going on with the team. Seems like reading the boards no one likes the head coach??? Wow. I didn't get a chance to see Tamera play--but Price did a great job tonight as did all of the Dream.
