While reading various posts and replies on this board I had a thought: does anyone besides the fans/moderator read what we have to say? I'm happy to say the Dream has some hardcore fans in its inaugural season. Those living in Georgia know we suffer from the "fair weather fan" syndrome and seeing that the Dream haven't won a game yet attendance over 6,000 is good. But we NEED to win to get the attendance up and constant (but back to what I was saying). My point of this post: Fan message boards provide valuable input for a franchise. Granted, message boards are basically opinions and opinions differ. However, fan posts/blogs more often than not reflect the people. For example, look at the number/popularity of posts when we almost win or win we have a sloppy loss. The hot topics reflect how the fans feel about coaching decisions, players, etc. I wonder if anyone besides the fans and moderators ever take the time to browse the boards...investors/partners, Dream staff members, players, owners, etc. Atlanta has fans who care what direction the team is going in. A great foundation for a franchise. Just a thought

the only problem is what will happen when the newness has worn off and people get turned-off by consistent bone-headed moves...

Exactly, which is why we NEED a win and better decisions overall to go with it. C. Little going to Seattle for 2nd round pick in '09= bad decision IMO. (See Rumors and Trades thread) My point: we have amazing fans here in Atlanta and we're not doing well. Lets pull out some wins and get the "I only pay to watch teams who win" people in the seats at Philips Arena.

Totally agree. With gas going high, I am realy surprised to see attendance still above 6K, but how long will people like Jaye make the trip into town to see a mess of a team play?

The main question: is Coach Meadors reading our posts?
