I appreciate #1's perspective, but I think it's foolish to blame the coach, especially after such a dramatic improvement since last year. One can't take adult players who've never rebounded or defended and in literally a few weeks make them professional-quality rebounders and defenders. We had a couple of starters out these last games, and others have struggled, and to me, that's why we lost. But it's been a great turnaround since last year, which should not be forgotten, and the coach should be credited.
Shalee brought me to the Dream, and now I'm a Dream fan, no matter who's playing. I work at Kansas State and I hope to see Shalee on campus this fall, and I'll encourage her to improve and make the Dream that much better next year. She'll hustle her tail off, I'm sure, and hope to win over a few more doubting fans next year.
Looking forward to next summer,
Pusser

Alright tiggs i kind of agree but i really dont. it has been said and i agree with this but that wen shalee brings the ball down you see every body running and jumping out to get the ball from her cause they know that she cant do something with the ball. Ya u might c her make a few couple of shots because she probally on her game that nite but that is really rare. On the other hand when my gurl ivory bring the ball down nobody wants to get the ball because they no that she is capable of doing plenty of things (which is good and bad) but for example.... shooting... a very important factor in basketball this is something that ivory does but you rarely see shalee doin so shalee might give more assist to the team because they no that they need to get the ball away from her as soon as possible

I guess it's clear to everyone Latta is a better INDIVIDUALLY... no doubt about that. However, Shalee is a TEAM PLAYER, and that's what the Dream needs.., she runs the team way better and that was shown these past two games...

A PG's job is to run the need, not necessarily score, that's secondary and that's why we have forwards to shoot and centers playing underneath the basket...

hold on wait a min. iight u said shalee is a TEAM PLAYER, and that's what the Dream needs.., she runs the team way better and that was shown these past two games.. dude first of all reread ur post before u post them because in actuality shalee havent even played in the last 2 games iight thats number 1 number 2 ivory is better in all perspectives. on and off the court. think about it... ivory is a team player i dont recall shalee making all these three pointers and making 21 points (not even ivorys season high but shalees high is 7 points) to try and help the TEAM win these games and when u really take out the time to think about it u will realize that shalee aint busting her tail to try and win these games now is it no and i dont think you realize that

I don't know what language you guys are speaking, but #1 fan, did you just say that Shalee isn't "busting her tail" to win now? Please. She got hurt busting her tail for the team. Like it or not, Ivory scores, but the Dream loses. Shalee leads the team to victory, regardless of her scoring. End of story.

Well, I enjoyed the rib tips (yes, they were delicious), and the first three quarters. Even though Angel and Izi were in foul trouble way early, and the first couple of minutes were full of out of control shooting, it looked like the game was winnable. They just started pressing too hard in the 4th, and Detroit's defense was just too tight.
The Dream could have done a lot more on defense, and let's not even mention fouls.
Nolan, Braxton, and Zellous looked like they could have played the whole game by themselves, and still have won.
Tiggs, don't even start with that we were winning with Shalee line. You give her way too much credit for doing so little. There are four other players on the floor besides the PG that have to do their parts, and an oposing team trying to keep that from happening. In this series, that oposing team just happened to be up to the task.
Not the result that we wanted, but at least The Dream improved radically over last year, and made the play-offs. Next year, with any luck (and a lot of hard work) at all, they'll go farther.
NEXT YEAR, DREAM

IVORY CAN SURE AS HECK LEAD US TO VICTORIES JUS LIKE SHALEE CAN.... IVORY SCORED 21 AND WE STILL LOST MAINLY B.C THE REST OF THE TEAM DIDNT HELP OUT! WE WASNT THERE 2NIGHT THATS THE END OF THE STORY

End of story. iight i agree about the injury and all but u cant say that wen ivory score we loss and wen shalee in we get a victory cause that aint the case if it was we would have had a perfect record this year and we would have won the playoffs and the finals if shalee didnt have her injury. but like i said it aint true instead of have a perfect record we have 16 losses and guess what... shalee started all of these games expect the last to due to the injury so ur statement aint tru
