Whats up Dream Fans!!! So my room mate insisted that since I practically live on here that I should become a member and add input...hahaha. There's interesting comments in the message boards, as usual but I can see where most come from.
I think personally that the Dream will learn from this loss. Truthfully, it hurt me...no serious, I love the Dream players (players not head coach but I can honestly say I am seeing a little of what she is doing. I think she would be a good manager and not coach, she is picking some odd players but some how they work). Angel needed this loss, she needed to realize she is not at Louisville anymore and that this is the WNBA. She has to lead the team and learn how to keep her cool when things doesnt go the way she planned them to go. Saying that, I think alot of people dont give her enough credit. She is TRYING to carry a team (some of it is by her own choice but another part of it is because there is no one else to) and I think she is doing a good job!!!
The only critism I have with Angel is to pick better shots, but most of her life she has been the go to person and without a WNBA coach to TEACH her that she doesnt have to do it by herself ALL the time its hard (if you listened to the halftime report Coach MNM stated "we all just looking at Angel play, we all need to step up our game like her (this is paraphrased)." I am hoping that she also said off the camera "Angel, you dont have to do it by yourself, calm down and take better shots." Either way, I think Angel will learn from this and it will make her a better leader, she even said it during her halftime interview "she was frustrated with the team play and tried to do it on her own" but she also said "she has to be smarter out there and learn how to trust her team more because she is getting double teamed."
Even with Angel "shooting too much" (as people say) her field goal percentage is still 41% which us not the greatest but far from the worst (Diana T. is 35% and Lauren Jackson is 43%). She just needs to work on her 3 point shot. And those "wild shots" she "throws" up are her shot. Shes always did moves like that and made hard shots, thats what makes her game so good, she makes hard shots (look at her college and WNBA career, most of them are tough shots because people "D" her up).
So sorry for the long message, just wanted to give my 2 cents or in this case 25 cents!!!

just because Mique was the oldest and maybe the best player last year. Doesn't mean she was a great captain. That could be true, but a lot of the younger kids looked up to her and if you watched our games she was another coach on our bench..the older players need to step up.
