I just realized that Jasmine Thomas' 8.7 ppg, 3.3 rpg, and 4.3 apg aren't much of a drop-off from what former All-Star Lindsey Harding averaged for us last year (12.3 ppg, 2.8 rpg, and 4.5 apg). The scoring is down three points, but if Tiffany Hayes continues to score like she has been, that can be made up for. Rebounding is actually up for Thomas from what Harding averaged, and assists are slightly down.
Also, Alex Bentley has 11 assists on the season and no turnovers!
To all the doubters that said we lost so much when Harding signed with LA: we have two very good, young PGs here right now with more time to develop. Oh, and we're 3-0, which is better than the Sparks can say.

the dream looked pretty good tonight.. but our guards didn't necessarily look that good... thomas was energetic... but her shooting in transition is horrible... but sancho and erica were so dominant down low that we didn't really need good guard play...

Yeah, you're right. They didn't look great in this one. But I posted that before the game lol. Still been impressed with them overall.

i'm not really that optimistic about them anymore... but i'm hoping that our other strengths will make up for it... it has so far... :-D

Well, we did make the Finals with Shalee Lehning as our starting PG, and I think that both Thomas and Bentley are better than she was.

got to admit... they're looking better and better... getting more consistent... certain opponents give them trouble... but by the same token... they give certain opponents trouble as well... and they give a different look to defenses when they're interchanged...

I agree. The best part is they are both very young, and they have a lot of time to improve and develop as players.
