I don't know about everyone else, but I am thrilled with the signing of Celine. This has sold me on the trading of Alex. We must've known Armintie was leaving, so we took the chance to get a replacement two-guard in Matee, and then to have this great signing of an elite PG in Celine. I don't feel like going through her credentials, but it seems to me as though we could have an All-Star caliber PG running the show for us. A lineup that looks like this would be great:
PG - Celine Dumerc SG - Matee Ajavon SF - Angel McCoughtry PF - Sancho Lyttle C - Erika de Souza 6th - Tiffany Hayes
Also, I am pretty happy with the signing of Samantha. We could now have two of the best backup point guards in the WNBA backing up Celine. Both of them were tried out as starters (Jasmine here and Sammy in Phoenix, neither of which quite panned out), so I think that they would be perfect for their new roles.
Great work, Angela Taylor!!!

I'll just tell you that Sammy Prahalis was a starter her rookie year and was very effective, especially for a rookie. Her not playing and ultimately being waived her 2nd year is more due to problems within the Phoenix organization/coaching/etc that Sammy's ability to play starting point guard. She is definitely starter material.
That being said, I'm excited as well. I'm a big Prahalis fan and couldn't be more excited that she's coming to this team. I think she fits the up tempo style that the Dream have. And you're right, with a veteran like Dumerc and Sammy as her backup, they will be one of the most lethal starter/backup point guard duos in the league, if not THE most. Not many teams have a starting caliber point guard coming off the bench.
The Dream and it's fans (and you have a new one right here) are going to absolutely love Prahalis. This is going to be an exciting year.
