I watched the SASS play at the Mystics yesterday.
The Mystics used organ music during the game.
I decided that I really like our in-game music...it definitely helps pump things up!
Just out of curiousity...what is the name of the song the team plays during shootaround before the 2nd half starts? It says something like, "east side/south side..."

Haha I see people who normally aren't vocal and don't really participate clapping when they play that...I think their subconscious minds takes over. And it was great to have 8,000+ people yelling "HEY!" when they played the song that gets played at every sporting type event....definitely the Pavlov effect.

That is "Rock and Roll Pt. 2" by Gary Glitter.

Got to agree that they do a great job of getting the fans jacked up with the music, hand claps, and stuff on the big screen. The announcer is pretty cool too. When I watch other WNBA games I pay attention to the house announcer and how the fans react. I may be biased, but we seem to make a lot more noise at Phillips than the fans of most of the other teams.
I wonder how the original version of Dream Lover would go over at Phillips??

I've been watching fans during televised games and although there are the fans who are into it, I am starting to think Dream fans are pretty high on the best fans in the WNBA list---I haven't seen every teams home fans so I'm not sure yet. I watched a game last Saturday I think it was and the arena looked sparce...we're 3-22 and have 7,000+ people rockin' the place--10,000+ yesterday-- (of course $10 tickets help) it's nice to see that people in Atlanta will take the time to drive out to Philips for women's basketball.

We got off topic but I made a point to pay it some attention yesterday...to answer your question the song is "Put On" by Young Jeezy and depending on what type of music you like the edited version is what you want...
