I didn't see the AJC today, but yesterday and another day this past week, if you looked in the Sports page at the WNBA standings, you would have read that the "Hawks" are 0-5.

That's no problem, I am willing to send out some requests directly to the staff. Anyone else? The more people who ask for these things, the better the response will be, I think.

I'll be glad to write a few e-mails. I'd even send snail mail if I knew who to write.
BTW, I hate the preformatted enter-your-comments-and-request-in-the box-in-this-form which exists on the Dream website. It would be nice if there were a single e-mail address to which one could make comments. That might be the first thing to ask for.

Hello! I just wrote one of the staff members at the Atlanta Dream and this is the response I got. I'm just paraphrasing what I received in my response mail. 1) First, fans should be aware that they can contact the Dream for any reason at any time -- their doors are open -- and never be afraid to call, e-mail or write them for any reason. Feedback is important to the Dream staff: they value it greatly and they make a point that they want to be as accessible to the fans as they possibly can. 2) Regarding ways to get in touch with the staff: Call: the number is 404-604-2626. Ask to speak to the Customer Service Coordinator (Jacquie Tatman). She can also be reached by e-mail at Jacquie.Tatman@AtlantaDream.net. If Jacquie is unavailable, simply ask to speak with one of the Atlanta Dream Account Executives and they'll be glad to take your concerns. Obviously, you want to call during normal business hours. The website interface: the interface is located at www.wnba.com/dream/Contact_us.html. At the interface, there is a link to Customer Service. If you want to use e-mail instead, use CustomerService@AtlantaDream.net. 3) Regarding a request for more stories and more Dream news. Stories: When they get a PR news story, press release or general team news, it's usually up on the Dream website within minutes. Requests for more info, trivia, tidbits about Dream players: they will be releasing a "get to know me" piece on individual players on the website as well. Keep an eye out for it. Requests for an active player blog: They've requested one, so we'll see what happens. Remember, the Dream can't meet your concerns if they don't know what they are. (* * *) All in all, contacting the Dream staff was a positive experience. If you don't feel comfortable either calling or writing to the Dream staff, just private message me and I'll do it.

This from today's AJC Peach Buzz: Hmmm...is Izzy back? Game Notes say she's not back in the U.S. until the 14th...
<<<OVERSCENE
Members of the Atlanta Dream team, the city’s new WNBA franchise, including Iziane Castro Marques, Erika DeSouza, Katie Feenstra, Kristin Haynie, Jennifer Lacy, Ivory Latta, Betty Lennox, Camille Little, Stacey Lovelace, Kristen Mann, Chioma Nmamaka, Ann Strother and Tamera Young, Dream head coach and general manager Marynell Meadors, assistant coaches Fred Williams and Katy Stedding and strength and conditioning coach Jackie Ansley and Atlanta City Council President Lisa Borders dining together at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse in Buckhead. We’re told the team’s fellow diners immediately recognized them, due to the combined impressive height of the players.>>>

Great articles in the AJC this morning...one by Steve Hummer on the Dream getting the first win and the other by Jenna Marina on Hammond and the Olympics. You have to love the attitude and determination of our players. I am quite impressed with the space the AJC is devoting to the Dream.
We can chat with Betty this morning at 11:45 AM...atlantadream.net.
See you at the game...GO DREAM.
