Tonight's local newscasts on the Dream's 2nd win: FOX 5/Ken Rodriguez: Nothing at 10pm but highlights at the 11pm news edge CBS46/Gil Tyree: Highlights Channel 2 Action News (abc), not Hartman but the other sports guy: no mention and no highlights 11Alive (NBC): I didn't see or hear any news or highlights of the win, but I did miss a minute or two of the sports broadcast... 11Alive did mention and show highlights of the game...briefly though during the sports section of the 11 pm news They're pretty good about mentioning the team game results and sometimes also showing highlights

So it seems at least lately that they and CBS46 are doing a nice job. The guy's name from Ch. 2 Action news is Chuck Dowdle...who showed, among other things (but not the Dream) Braves, high school football players, and then said, "and finally tonight... " (and I waited for the Dream win highlights) proceeded to run a story on the continuing demolition of the Detroit Tigers baseball stadium. (!!!)

AJC.com now has a Dream tab at the top of its main sports page, and if you click on it, it takes you to the Dream's very own page!
Progress, folks.

I just saw that paper at an indoor playground...I am definitely going to start checking it out! They had several mentions of the Dream (positive, no snark/cutdowns, etc) in the last issue, and this was prior to our first win.

Also, I have noticed that new members to these message boards have increased by about 25 (now up to 151) since the first win...

we didn't lose this one because "the silver stars simply proved to be too much" for us..... we lost because of bad calls and because we let it slip through our fingers.... there's a big difference....

On a national level, if the NY Times ain't exposure, I don't know what is. Great find...thanks pet for posting. Once again, an out-of-town publication provides us with more insider information that our hometown outlets.

Once again, an out-of-town publication provides us with more insider information that our hometown outlets. I second that. This piece gives more insight into the players (Mann included) emotions and how close they are. This definitely should have been in the AJC or something...Come on Dream Staff, Atlanta newspapers/outlets...let's keep ATL Dream fans in the loop.
