What do you think about the SPARKS getting Candice Parker of TN Lady Vols? This is a sharp young gal with a LOT of talent. She can hit the three, drive straight to the basket for a layup and a foul. This gal is going far in the WNBA.

I think you said it all, kasey. And she's going to be playing with Leslie, McWilliams-Franklin, Johnson, Ferdinand-Harris, and more. That team's going to be awesome! Again.
It gets tiresome for one team to stay so dominant, when it's not MY team!

True tichayo .... Sparks have the experience; Dream also has a lot of height and I just know that Coach is going to use that to our advantage. Sparks will definitely be dominant this year; but, Pheonix has another GREAT roster also. Chicago has Sylvia Fowles from LSU. IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT SEASON !!!!

I was so hoping we'd've gotten a higher pick, knowing Parker would be in this draft At least we get to see her in action before anyone else! Take THAT Los Angeles

Anyone have any thoughts on the Storm's prospect this year? At first glance, they've got an all-star lineup, but new players don't always integrate easily, and too many stars in one lineup can hinder rather than help teamwork. And Swoopes and Griffith are both getting long in the tooth and trying to stay one step ahead of chronic injuries. And what impact will the team's survival, new ownership, and continued residence in Seattle (after all those fears of moving to Oklahoma) have?
Can the new coach weld all this together? If he can, the Storm will rain on lots of people's parades, and might even douse the Sparks come championship time.

If my girl SWOOPES is in rare form, the STORM are going to be fierce. She can't do it all herself, but, she can create scoring opportunities for her team mates.

Have y'all been following the USA team? Sylvia Fowles is Awesome so far!
Maybe the Sky's getting second choice in the draft doesn't mean they got second-best.
This girl bears watching!
