I'd have to say the shooting percentage, including McCoughtry, cost the Dream in this one.
Fowles is one of the top players in the league. DeSouza had a good game.

I can't believe there are hardly any comments on this game! It was by far the most intense WNBA game I've ever seen. My seat didn't get used much in the fourth quarter. It was definitely a winnable game and our shooting killed us. I can't believe how many shots rolled around them rim and then out. Chicago would have the same kind of shot but theirs always rolled in! I also was surprised with how many shots of ours weren't even close... time to do a shooting clinic!
Sancho's injury could turn out to really hurt the Dream if she has to miss any games. Just from the sounds of some things I heard, it sounds like the staff was very concerned about her.

concussions are nothing to play with.... hopefully she'll suffer no lasting effects....

Jaye, Sancho was completely unconscious. She grabbed her face, fell back and then you could tell when she lost consciousness because her arms just collapsed to the floor and she didn't move at all. Izzy fouled to get the game stopped because she could tell it was serious. The trainers ran across the floor to Sancho. It took quite a while before we saw any movement from her. I agree with you that concussions and/or any kind of head injury are nothing to mess with so I'm worried. Hopefully we'll hear something about how she is doing.

yeah.... she was out cold.... but i'm a boxing fan.... and tho concussions are truly serious.... it's usually repeated concussions that cause adverse effects.... hopefully they'll take it slow with her and give her brain chance to heal before subjecting her to further possible injury....

I have never liked Fowles playing style, and yesterday was just another reason for me to dislike her and the sky. I'm not saying she's a dirty player, but Moss was right getting the tech, she was elbowing people the entire game, and it was annoying me. Also the fact that if you ever touch her or try to defend her, the foul is called on u...

Fowles is one of the best in the WNBA and this season she really looks good in her position. She's not a dirty player. I hope that Sancho will be okay because she is one of the best all around 'athletes' in the league... I just think it was an unfortunate thing that happened. As for the elbows, come now, they seem to fly from many of our big players such as Lauren Jackson, Snow, Lechanka, DeSouza and even Sancho on occasion (And I love all of these I just mentioned!!!) I mean, it's something that's done quite often across the board. I saw elbows being thrown from both teams Saturday night. Doesn't make it a pleasant thing but I do believe that none of our professionals are intentionally trying to hurt someone. Chicago is a very decent team despite the fact that they have a sorry coach (he looks better this year though)....
