athletes make stupid and offensive statements on a daily basis.... teams aren't going to cut their own throats by getting rid of franchise players for a reason as trivial as that... it's what they pay pr's for.... especially in an era where you can go to three days of rehab and all is forgiven.... the public's attention span is about a minute and a half.... cappie isn't going anywhere.... and ny is a city where the only bad publicity is no publicity.... Good Point! bout time i got one right....

Chicago just picked up Snow for Perkins but I still think the Harding deal we made was the best post-draft trade so far.

The Chicago trade was a good trade for both teams, but I think Chicago got the better end of the deal. San Antonio gets a playmaking guard that can produce in the late stages of a game. Chicago added size on the interior as well as have an experienced post player on a relatively young team (Michelle Snow needs to stop travelling. This is her third team in 3 seasons)That being said, Danielle Adams might make the San Antonio team( I was a bit worried about her because she was drafted so late.) But, I agree that the Harding deal was the best deal that improved a team. Because Harding left Washington, I think the Mystics will be in more trouble for this season than anticipated. This was the team that finished first in 2010. I doubt that they'll make it to the post season this year. Now that Harding is in Atlanta, the Dream is poised to make a second trip to the WNBA finals.

i really... really like the harding trade... and not just because she's a dime.... Haha..yeah, I'm sure thats only about 30% to 40% of the reason you like the deal! Always good to have some eye candy on the team and fans LOVE a good looking WNBA point guard!
