Hey, Moderator! Sorry about using this venue, but I don't know where else to send this message.
Is there an obscenity filter or something like that on these boards? If so, you might want to check it.
In a message I typed recently about point guards, I kept trying to write the name of the now-retired Liberty point guard, T. Weathersthingy. When I previewed what I had written, what appeared was "Weathersthingy". No matter how many times I corrected and re-typed, it wouldn't let me write the player's name. Even trying to use her nickname, "T-Sthingy", came out "T-Sthingy". Is there some bar to the use of "thingy", even when within another word?
If the purpose of this filter is to avoid questionable or suggestive language, I'm not sure that something that substitutes "T-Stingy" for "T-Sthingy" quite accomplishes that purpose.
Can this be fixed?
Previewing this message should make it clear what the problem is.
