I so need a little humor after last night's game. Let's get Feenstra on one of those makeover shows. Dye her hair black and give her a mohawk, black eyeliner, tattoos all over and suddenly she becomes...Oh, right. you can cover up the stripes on a zebra, and it's still...a zebra. ;D My other reality show dream...get the toughest SOBs from, I don't know...wrestling, roller derby...and put her through "Mean Camp". Ok, I feel a little better now. Thanks for letting me be silly, I needed it! AFF

I thought you were going to be a little serious in there and suggest removing the cement blocks from her feet so it doesn't take her 5 minutes to get down the court

That and slap some glue on her fingers....man there were a few times she just couldn't handle the quick passes from her teammates. She literally got totally surprised by them and couldn't handle/keep the ball.

I guess my only problem with her is, she's usually the tallest person on the court and can not make those easy shots. I mean dang between trying to hope she catches the passes we have to worry about her making the easy baskets. She just need to go to practice and let some one throw passes at her and sshe just shoot from the block the WHOLE practice. DANG!!!!!!!

I wonder if the league could work something out and get a deal with Extreme Makeover as part of the television package! I think we would have a great skills makeover episode for them!

Hey, let's not rattle Kit too much. She actually fought under the boards in the loss to the Lynx. I think it was the first time she didn't play like Shawn Bradley all year.
If Kit gets tougher, we might catch the Sky unawares.

If Kit gets tougher, we might catch the Sky unawares. --Pet I agree. Lets send her to play some street ball and when she comes back she'll be ready. She is a a good player we just need to smooth some things out around the edges. Katie's goals: Get tough. Hold on to the ball. Speed it up a bit.

we desperately need to be trying to shop feenstra..... lambier spent a year on the feenstra experiment..... we really don't need to spend that long..... the experiment is over.... it failed..... we need to cut our losses..... and try to salvage something out of the situation....
meadors still has hope for feenstra..... but seems to have given up on Chioma Nnamaka without really giving her a chance to develop..... jmo but we've given up on the wrong player....

Jaye: I agree 100%!!!!!
To see Chioma not even dressed out last night was disappointing.
As for Feenstra, she is awful and will not get better. Every single game, she is the biggest person on the floor and usually the most passive. When she has had the chance to be coached by two former NBA post players (and good ones too) and still doesn't improve, somebody needs to realize she's not very helpful in our organization. Ann Wauters made management look like fools last night considering she could have been on the floor in a Dream uniform.
Feenstra rarely catches the ball cleanly if at all. She rarely converts "at the rim" layups. She is dominated in the post by smaller, more aggressive players as well as the bigger, athletic ones. I'm not sure why she is even on the court ever!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I get really frustrated as well with Feenstra just because she is soooooooo freaking tall and people smaller than her over power her, however I think a lot of it has to do with the coach and her staff on how they play Feenstra. Katie has moments when she does well and the coach needs to recognize that. I think Feenstra is the type of player that you put in for a few minutes at a time. Put her in to give us a big presence inside get the ball to her a few times for some quick baskets like she did last night and then get out for some minutes. I think it all comes down to the Coaching staff and recognizing the strenghts and weaknesses of players and find rotations that work and players that compliment each other.
THE END haha
