well i sure hope she gets some minutes when they come and visit connecticut this friday, but i heard she had something wrong with her back, so maybe that is why they play her for a minute and 46 seconds one game. i am a big fan of hers, i just wish she had some more playing time.

That back rumor's been going around since before she got any minutes at all on the floor. I doubt it's true...but who knows. But it's still a rumor at this point.

The up side: even if she has a back injury, it doesn't effect her play in a way that's noticeable. She's gotten good minutes of late and has played hard. I noticed on Sunday's game she didn't really use her heat pack as much as she had been while not playing (good sign IMO).

Well per the website's Game Notes for Friday's game, looks like Lovelace and Feenstra (!!) are replacing Lacy and Mann in the starting lineup.

Note it says "Probable Starters" - I'm not sure who puts this together but I'm wondering if they are just going by who started the last game. They announced Mann and Lacy would be starting on wednesday - via the pre-game announcer guy. Then started Lovelace and Feenstra. So now-a-days I think I'll just wait until the opening tip. With the craziness in the rotations its probably not worth getting stressed over.

Anyone have info on a back pain issue? She gets plenty of minutes one game and then very limited the next. She has high BB I.Q. Really seems to be a stablizer when she is in the game.

But, why they got her playing at the 5? WOW I think she is one of those versitile players that is smart enough to play several positions. She's not the biggest on the team but she does play smart when they ask her to play the center. I think she's a natural 3 (or maybe 4). She had her best game when they asked her to step up and play the 5 spot. Maybe she just needs to be challenged like that - and then given the minutes to prove that she can do it.

Anyone have any idea what's up with Kristen? She was out the entire second half (I think) with the heat pack and on the bike...is it shin splints or something else?

I noticed that also...she played a good game though. Her shot was a bit off but other than that I was happy with her performance (as always).
I liked the question about the dog that turned out to be hers and then they showed the picture of K and her dog..it was cute. When they panned over to K she was laughing and so were the other players on the team...good stuff.
New hair color for K, new hairstyle for T....I guess we're trying to do whatever it takes to break the 0-16...

Kristen is a very stabilizing force on this team. Did you notice how cohesive the team was while she was in the game and how our game dropped off when she left the game. After seeing her riding the bike during the second half, I am convinced she has a back problem...possibly muscle spasms. Remember, she was one of the last players to report to camp...maybe trying to rest the back. Remember, how we were questioned why she getting no playing time in the beginning. Something must have happened in Europe. She has not been 100% since the season started.
