Where the heck was she going to the grocery store, Buckhead? Yes. The perk of having the team owner also be a real estate magnate: most of the team is housed in one of his properties in Buckhead. Now if she had come over to the Decatur/Emory area to grocery shop it would've been altogether different scene. LOL.

Watch for a new show on Bravo (I think) called The Real Housewives of Atlanta...believe me, these Buckhead Betties (as the rich, nipped, tucked, bleached, etc. women of that area are called) are nothing like most of Atlanta. No wonder Mann was like WTF? Scarab: I will lay out the red carpet personally if any of our team decided to check out our lovely Emory/Decatur Publix!!!! That's much more the speed I think...Emory students, Agnes Scott students, aspiring soccer moms and family and don't forget the little old ladies getting off the shuttle buses from the nearby retirement communities. And nobody's dressed up.

I figured they were living in a more upscale neighborhood. I see many people going to the grocery store in pajama pants and depending on where you're at you may see some rollers in the hair lol Though around here there is a mixture of those who absolutely have to look nice. But yes Buckhead is definitely NOT a way to get to know the "real" Atlanta.

You know you can call yourself a Dream fan when you've just flipped on New York/Indiana and you say, "Hey! That's Kristen Mann!" Like scarab I too was hoping Mann got minutes in the outdoor classic (and every game her team plays in) and was happy when she finally got out there (and stayed a bit). Fortunately I have that bit of history recorded to keep and playback Outdoor basketball definitely reminds you of playground/park/driveway play...oldschool.
